ProStores Tips and Tutorials – One Take Media

A few simple steps to reduce the shopping cart abandonment rate for your ProStores site.

Part 1:

1. If the checkout process is more than one page have some sort of signal (like a series of graphics) telling your customers how many steps there are and where they are in the process.
2. Have your SSL certificate’s security logo featured prominently on each page of the process
3. If you accept visa/mastercard/amex/discover, put their logos on the Payment Entry page.
4. Make your next/continue buttons stick out, rather than using the plain windows default buttons, but make sure they are consistent with your site’s overall look.
